Our volunteers are the best! STCC relies on volunteers greatly to carry out its daily tasks. Our volunteers help us with numerous tasks: from clean-ups to research!
We have volunteer training programs, where we teach interested volunteers the necessary skills to be able to identify well turtle activity, be able to assist injured turtles, to carry out well their specific tasks. We also educate them about sea turtles, so they have sufficient knowledge to continue our work on a daily basis.
We work with volunteers on Curaçao, who help us with the tasks here, on the beaches, in the seas and at the office. In addition, we also work with remote volunteers, who are located outside of Curaçao. These volunteers help us with our digital work.
